hi sophie
that sounds very good but what set up are you using? i'm thinking in terms of weight eg cnc head and tail? which blades any other mods? my belt now must weigh twice as much as it did stock.( not weighed it but it feels it) 12 mins flight time would be excellent _________________ thanks ian

What type of battery charger are you using with the rapid charge battery? I have a BC6. Will it work? Ed

As its clear to see the obsessive nature of this sport has taken over my house completely resulting in my need for a large supply of lipo's. My prayers were answered when the heliguys Rapid Charge Lipo's came to my rescue, They are all giving excellent performance from the 7.4v for my E-Smarts Receivers to the Trex 450's and Belt CPs I am even getting good results using the 11.1v 2200mah wired in series for the 600s,
Thanks Heliguy's _________________ Esky Daulphin,Belt CP V1,Belt CP V2,E-Smart Plastic,Esmart Metal Edition ,Align ESC 75amp.Century swift SE

For best battery life charge at 1C or just below, this is worked out by dividing the mah figure by 1000 to give the Amp rating.
so a 2200mah battery 1C charge is 2.2A best charge rate 2A for the first 10 to 20 cycles then 2.2A as a 1C charge, should take about 45 mins to an hour depending on end use voltage.
Nice fleet there Jill

We're still waiting on a spec sheet from the manufactures, we required a high charge rate 2c or higher etc but still no reply, so for safety charge at 1C until we get the charge rate specs.
Stay tuned they could get a lot better

I bought one of these less than five weeks ago, and it's had about twenty cycles. I usually take it and an older Align 3S1P 2250 out for flying, and use the Align first, then this Heliguy one so they each get equal usage.
Today I got less than a minute's use out of this Heliguy one before the rotors slowed down to the point the heli had to land. Odd.

...but after about 50 cycles I've had 8m25s before my esc cuts out with 3.2V left in each cell.
As a result I've just bought another two of these lipos, and so far the flight times look good on them. I'd definitely recommend these lipos.

Look in the Lipo Store at the top of the forum.
It shows the range for the CP.
Rapidcharge are truly excellent packs - but you still need to take care not to overfly them or they will fail or puff - just like any other battery. _________________ Randal
