Hi all,
just got a DX8 and are having problems setting up.
Talked to Spektrum today and they walked me through advanced calibration on the phoenix. Every time I throttle up it rolls to the right and Crash!!it does this in hover training and free flight. I have a new Trex 500E Pro in the box but will not fly it till I get some real sim time.I have tried over 10 different birds

Could be you need to change one or more reverses on the tx.

sounds like you still have ccpm on your tx, make sure its set to 90 degree swash not 120, when calibrating have a look which channels are getting a signal while moving the left stick (mode 2) up and down, it should only be 1 and 6
