i just converted my Futaba 7cap to 2.4 using the Assan x8d module, i also install a switch to chose between 72 and 2.4 since i still have 2 72 rx's
all took about a hour of work and drill 3 holes on my case for Antenna,led and switch and cut 3 wires on my tx and solder them and the 3 wires from the module to the switch
both freq is working fine, no more glitichin on my 450 exi and no more glitching on my king 2
the Assan rx cost 22$usd for a 6 channel version and 23$ for the 7 channel version, both short antena wire
module cost 57$usd with all components to complete the transfer
extra i spend was the switch i got from radio shack for 3.99
well worth the money spend on my conversion on my 7cap
